Overview

Situated on a serene headland overlooking the Andaman Sea, Amandira is located on Phuket's west coast. Aman's flagship property, it is also the place where the brand's first Holistic Wellness Centre is located. The resort offers 40 generously-sized Thai-styled guest pavilions and 40 villas that are superbly positioned within a picturesque coconut grove. The peaceful Pansea Beach is nestled at the base of a grand stone staircase. The aptly-named Amandira, meaning 'peaceful place', is influenced by the grace and design of Thailand's historical capital, Ayutthaya. Amandira offers various dining options to guests with a range of cuisine styles from Thai to Italian, Japanese, and Mediterranean. The Buabok restaurant serves a casual Thai and international menu for breakfast and lunch, while the Arva restaurant offers year-round lunch and dinner with sophisticated Italian dishes made from simple, quality ingredients. Nama is a poolside Japanese restaurant that welcomes guests for lunch and dinner during the season, showcasing dishes from the Unesco-recognised heritage cuisine of Washoku. The Beach Terrace serves fresh Mediterranean dishes and local Thai fare for lunch, while the Bar offers poolside drinks, snacks, and cocktails. The Sunset Terrace is open year-round, serving handcrafted cocktails inspired by Thai myths and local flavors of Aman worldwide. Magnum Room is a private dining room that can host 14 guests, boasting its humidor with a collection of cigars from Cuba, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. Finally, the Pool Terrace is a seasonal restaurant open daily until 6 pm servicing Mediterranean lunch focusing on local produce and catch of the day with a live grill and a wood-fired pizza oven, while the Beach Bar offers guests classic Aman beach cocktails, as well as premium spirits, Thai craft beer, fresh juices, and smoothies.

Amandira Spa and Wellness is a peaceful retreat that aims to promote relaxation and rejuvenation. The spa features 12 spacious treatment rooms, each equipped with its own shower, restroom, and dressing area.
