Things to Know

Located at the foot of the Aravalli hills in Rajasthan, Northwest India, Amanbagh is just 90 kilometers from Jaipur and 140 kilometers from Sawai Madhopur, where its sister property Aman-i-Khàs is located. To get there, visitors can take a flight to Delhi, Mumbai, or Jaipur before making the two-hour journey by car - though those traveling from Delhi can also opt for a private train or helicopter (the property has its own heliport). Flights from New Delhi to Jaipur take between 45 and 60 minutes, while flights from Mumbai to Jaipur take around an hour and 40 minutes. Once there, guests will find themselves in a modern-day Mughal palace carved out of local pink marble and sandstone with scalloped arches and cupolas paying homage to India's golden age. The lush compound is surrounded by mature palm, fruit, and eucalyptus trees that provide cool shade for the emerald-green pool. Beyond this oasis lies welcoming villages, majestic forts, and ruins, as well as Sariska National Park - where tigers still roam free - all ready to be explored.
