On entering, guests come face-to-face with an expansive reflection pool, with library, boutique, and gallery terraces among the landscaped gardens.

Amanzoe has no shortage of dining options - all in spectacular settings. The restaurant offers airy panoramic sea views while the more relaxed Living Room overlooks a central Bar. The Pool Restaurant is perfect for casual all-day dining that transforms into Japanse venue Nama at night, while Firepit is an outdoor terrace with majestic sea views. Finally, a taverna-style restaurant is located at the resort's Beach Club.



Things to Know


Amanzoe offers a secluded hilltop position with panoramic views, just a 10-minute drive away from traditional fishing villages. Guests can take a short boat ride to the islands of Spetses and car-free Hydra or a 50-minute drive to the ancient amphitheater and Unesco World Heritage Site of Epidaurus. The town of Nafplio, the former capital of Greece, is only an hour's drive away. Getting there is easy, too - it's only a 2.5-hour drive from Athens International Airport or 25 minutes by helicopter from Athens, with direct flights available from all major European and selected international cities.


Accommodations


Amanzoe offers a range of accommodations to choose from. The Pavilion and Villa options open up to expansive private terraces, creating a luxurious sense of space and seclusion. Pool Pavilions with Sea View offers stunning views of the sea or olive groves, along with a six-meter pool. Deluxe Pool Pavilions with Sea View provide an oversized king bed or two deluxe twin beds - plus a 12-meter pool - while guests seeking direct access to the beach can stay in the Beach Cabana.

The Garden Villa features a 9.5-meter private pool, while One-bedroom Villas include views of the sea and countryside, along with their own 22-meter private pool and shaded terrace dining area. For larger groups, there are Two-, Four-, Five-, and Six-bedroom Villas offering views of either the sea or countryside, plus a 20-25 meter pool surrounded by a media and spa room for extra comfort. Guests can also enjoy dedicated staff, as well as an impressive James Turrell installation - Skyspace.

Finally, those seeking an extra level of luxury will not be disappointed by the Nine Bedroom Villa option at Amanzoe. Offering six levels featuring incredible views from two infinity pools (30m & 40m) plus an indoor lap pool (15m), multiple indoor/outdoor living spaces, a meeting room, a library, and a game room - all topped off by three master bedrooms with their own private pools - this is no ordinary getaway!


Dining


At Amanzoe, you can enjoy dining and entertainment options to suit all tastes. From a modern Greek and Mediterranean dinner menu at the restaurant, with 80 seats, to casual Mediterranean lunches at the Pool Restaurant's 45 seats, there is something for everyone.

At their Arva venue, a pop-up opening from June 2023 with 100 seats and Italian cuisine with locally-sourced ingredients, you'll find plenty to tantalize your taste buds. For traditional yet sophisticated Greek taverna dishes, try the Beach Club with 90 seats or head to Nama for sophisticated Japanese fine dining in their 45-seat poolside venue open for dinner. Finally, visit the Bar, which features a cocktail menu inspired by local herbs and aromatics, cozy fireplaces in cooler months, and a fire pit terrace for sunset drinks in the summertime - perfect for up to 70 guests!


Spa


Located at the heart of Amanzoe Resort, the Aman Spa & Wellness provides a luxurious experience with its 25-meter pool lined with green marble and shaded by a pergola. A children's pool is provided for smaller guests. For those looking to stay in shape, there is a fully equipped gym with Technogym machinery and studios for Pilates and Yoga, as well as two hard-court tennis courts with floodlights and racquets provided. The Beach Club is 10 minutes away and offers sun loungers, towels, and showers, along with refreshments and a dining area.

The Aman Spa also offers an extensive spa menu combining ancient Greek beauty rituals with Asian techniques. It features 2,850 square meters of space featuring nine treatment rooms (some including steam rooms), a Thai massage room, a Watsu pool, a hair salon, a finishing salon, and changing areas (including a hammam, sauna, cold plunge, steam room) treating guests to the latest beauty technologies. Finally, two lap pools, two children's pools, and non-motorized water sports are available for everyone to enjoy.

The resort also boasts a library housing more than 1k books covering literature in different languages focusing on Greek history. Apart from this, there is also a dedicated Youth Center that offers educational experiences on Greek mythology as well as board games and screenings in the theatre room. Activities


Experience the best of the Peloponnese region at Amanzoe. Just a 50-minute drive away, visit the Unesco World Heritage Site of ancient Epidaurus, with its theatre still used for performances every summer. Just 1.5 hours away, explore the Unesco-protected archaeological site of Mycenae, the legendary kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon. An hour's drive brings you to the seaport town of Nafplio, which was once modern Greece's first capital. Nearby explore the Byzantine monastery of St. Dimitrios, which is built into a rock face on the lower slopes of Mount Avgo, and St George at Didima - a small but imposing church with views. Sample local specialties, including citrus fruits, sweet olives, diverse seafood, and wine, or visit a local beekeeper and honey museum for more gastronomical delights. Alternatively, charter one of Amanzoe's high-speed watercraft for a full or half-day trip to explore uninhabited isles and coves off the coast of the Peloponnese peninsula - from pretty Spetses famed for its seafaring traditions and Venetian architecture to Hydra renowned for its vibrant dining and nightlife scene. Or take trekking tours; highlights include the paleolithic Franchthi cave, reachable via coastal hike (about 15 minutes long), as well as forest walks such as Bisti forest (a 20-minute drive away).
