The updated property now includes the original Ocean Drive building, referred to as the Dixon wing, and the fully renovated Collins Avenue building, named the Hohauser wing, showcasing its jazz-era style.
The architectural marvel now boasts 130 guest rooms and suites, two restaurants led by esteemed chef Laurent Tourondel, and a spacious rooftop pool complex, among other exceptional amenities.
Highlights of The Betsy include the breathtaking rooftop Ocean Deck, offering 360-degree views of the sea and cityscape – the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail or light bite under the stars. The hotel hosts a range of cultural events, such as poetry readings, jazz concerts, literary festivals, book signings, and artist visits. Additionally, private art exhibits are displayed throughout the lobby, staircases, and hallways, and the Writer's Room offers residencies to creatives.
The expansive 3,200-square-foot rooftop complex serves as the hotel's magnificent centerpiece, featuring a stunning pool 50 feet above the city. For a more tranquil experience, the courtyard pool provides a secluded swimming spot. The attentive staff ensures your comfort and enjoyment throughout your stay, and outdoor dining is available at LT Steak & Seafood and across the property.
Important information to note: not all guest rooms have ocean or pool views – request a Deluxe Room, Betsy Royal Suite, or Skyline Level Bungalow Suite for the best vistas. Pets are welcome and receive royal treatment, with half of the pet charge donated to local dog shelters. The hotel is in high demand during Art Basel in December, so book early if attending the art festival. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels are provided on a nearby strip of beach.
Rooms in the Dixon wing exude charm and elegance, transporting you to a bygone era. The 70 new guest rooms in the Hohauser wing, designed by Diamante Pedersoli and Carmelina Santoro, feature a white and ocean-blue color palette with tropical accents. All 130 guest rooms and suites include Thassos and Carrera marble bathrooms, Malin and Goetz amenities, built-in LCD TV mirrors, dark walnut hardwood floors, and curated guest libraries.
Dine at chef Laurent Tourondel's LT Steak & Seafood, where New American cuisine takes center stage.
