The Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere began as a small family-run establishment in 1974. Located on what was once the palace grounds of Prince Eugene of Savoy in the 16th century, this property remained on the prince's estate until the mid-1800s, when it was converted into a first-class hotel for prominent visitors. In 1975, Austrian investor Paul Harring purchased the building and transformed it into what we now know today as the Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere.
